Testing the Dance Interactive project

What happens when you mix fashion and technology? What happens when you mix art and computers? What happens when you mix media and culture? In December, Francesca and Ryan talked to the 8th grade classes at Caribou Middle School about all these things. Topics focused on Wearable Computing and Interaction Design and the students got a glimpse inside how an interaction design research lab works from the initial breainstorming of the idea right down to the programming of electronics! Toys for Tots rally in Chicago

While walking around Chicago, we inadvertently wandered in the middle of the Toys for Tots rally where the streets were literally taken over by hundreds motorcycles! Most of them were decorated for the season in some crazt fashion as you can see from the image. Teddy bears, Antlers, Christmas lights, Rudolf noses, Black leather… oh, my!
